Hold neutral spine positioning with activated abdominal wall. 2. Supinate the hands (palms up). 3. Do not hyperextend the lumbar spine. 4. Once set starts hips do not touch the ground until set is completed. Regression/Make it Easier 1. Bring ball closer to the hips. 2. Stabilize ball against a wall. Possible Progression/Make it Harder 1. Move ball further from the hips. 2. Bring arms closer to side or across chest to decrease base of support. 3. Perform Single Leg Variation. 4. Single leg with smaller base of support. Benefits 1. Recruitment of the hip extensors. 2. Trains core and pelvic stability.
